Lavender Macaron

This subtle blend introduces the light floral note of lavender to red rooibos. Lavender mutes the natural sweetness of the red rooibos, enhancing instead its earthy flavour.
 
Ingredient notes: Rooibos, meaning “red bush”, grows in South Africa. It is caffeine-free and known for its relaxing properties. French Lavender (lavandin) is the less-floral, slightly camphorous cousin to the more widely known English Lavender. Lavandin is said to aid the respiratory system and reduce pain.
